Mikel Arteta could be banned from managing Arsenal on final day of the Premier League title race
Arsenal
's manager, Mikel Arteta, is in danger of being banned from overseeing his team's final Premier League match of the season against Everton due to an accumulation of yellow cards. This impeding predicament has cast an ominous shadow over Arsenal, particularly at this crucial stage of the Premier League title race, contested between Arsenal and Manchester City.

With the title race expected to continue until the final day of the season, Manchester City is set to face Tottenham this weekend and then Fulham after that. Concurrently, Arsenal is preparing to enter the field against Manchester United at Old Trafford this Sunday. Ironically, Arsenal had previously seized league titles at Old Trafford, and even though they will not repeat this feat this weekend, a win would undoubtedly provide a significant boost in their pursuit of their first league crown since 2004.
For the match at Old Trafford, Arteta is expected to tread cautiously. He has already received five yellow cards in the Premier League this season. An additional yellow card in the coming match would automatically instigate a one-match ban, barring him from the sidelines for the potential season-defining clash with Everton.

So far in this season, no Premier League manager has accrued more touchline bookings than Arteta, although Brighton's Roberto De Zerbi shares this dubious honor with five yellow cards to his name. De Zerbi potentially faces a ban for his team's final match of the season against Manchester United.
Brighton is currently contending for a European qualification slot, however, to secure this, they would need to win all three remaining games. Concurrently, they would be reliant on Chelsea (currently seventh place) or United (in eighth place), accumulating no more than two points from their next three games. Over and above this, Brighton would need a significant swing in goal difference to surpass the Blues.
