The players in the top ten come from four teams: Al Nassr, Al Hilal, Al Ittihad, and Al Ahli, which are also the most active teams in the Saudi League's transfer market. All four teams rank in the top five of the current Saudi League standings, with Al Ahli in fifth place, just three points behind third-placed Al Nassr.
