November 3 – FIFPRO (International Federation of Professional Footballers) has officially announced the 2025 World XI, with Kylian Mbappé, Lamine Yamal, Ousmane Dembélé, Jude Bellingham, and Cole Palmer headlining the selection.

FIFPRO 2025 World XI:
- Goalkeeper: Gianluigi Donnarumma (Manchester City/Paris Saint-Germain, Italy)
- Defenders: Achraf Hakimi (Paris Saint-Germain, Morocco), Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool, Netherlands), Nuno Mendes (Paris Saint-Germain, Portugal)
- Midfielders: Cole Palmer (Chelsea, England), Pedri (Barcelona, Spain), Vitinha (Paris Saint-Germain, Portugal), Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid, England)
- Forwards: Kylian Mbappé (Real Madrid, France), Lamine Yamal (Barcelona, Spain), Ousmane Dembélé (Paris Saint-Germain, France)

Voting Rules:
The FIFPRO World XI is selected through votes cast by over 21,000 professional football players worldwide. FIFPRO and its affiliated player unions distribute unique links, allowing players from professional clubs to access a digital voting platform.

Each footballer selects three players they consider the best in each of the following positions: goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, and forward.

The goalkeeper, three defenders, three midfielders, and three forwards with the most votes in their respective categories form the World XI. The 11th spot is allocated to the outfield player with the next highest number of votes.

Players are free to choose any individuals they believe deserve a place in the World XI. Notably, this is the only global football award determined entirely by professional players themselves.
