​Cristiano Ronaldo: 'Georgina is Special to Me, I Hope to Marry with the World Cup Trophy'

November 4 – In the first part of an interview released tonight with Piers Morgan, Cristiano Ronaldo discussed his plans for marriage.  

**Last time we spoke, you had tragically lost your son. It was an incredibly difficult period. Did that experience strengthen your relationship?**  
I believe we have always supported each other. Both good times and bad are part of a relationship. Now, our bond is even stronger. But even during the toughest moments, you have to strive to keep things flowing smoothly. You have to work to find balance. That’s what I’ve learned – it was hard, but I’ve learned a lot.  

I’ve seen other perspectives on life. My daughter is now 3 years old, she’s the little gem of the family; she fills the house with joy. Everything happens for a reason. I am very proud of my family.  

**I’ve been fortunate to meet Georgina a few times. Why is she so special to you?**  
There are many things I love about her. I find her truly special. She takes care of me, the family, and the home. If it were me... a man couldn’t handle it.  

Beyond her appearance, her beautiful figure, she understands me and looks after me and my family. That’s exactly what I want.  

**Is your mother happy?**  
I think everyone is happy. I believe it’s a good thing for the whole family. Everyone is delighted. This is a new chapter in my life.  

**Have you set a wedding date?**  
Not yet. We originally planned to marry after the World Cup, with the trophy in hand (he laughs)...  

**Do you know where you’ll hold the wedding?**  
Not yet, but she doesn’t like big parties. She prefers something more intimate. I will respect her decision.
