Manchester United and Bournemouth Share Eight Goals in Thrilling Premier League Draw

Manchester United played out a dramatic 4-4 draw with Bournemouth in a chaotic Premier League encounter at Old Trafford on December 15, 2025.
The hosts took an early lead through Amad Diallo's 13th-minute header, but Antoine Semenyo equalised for Bournemouth in the 40th minute with a sharp finish. Casemiro restored United's advantage just before half-time with a close-range header in stoppage time.
Bournemouth struck back immediately after the restart, with Evanilson levelling in the 46th minute and Marcus Tavernier curling in a fine free-kick on 52 minutes to put the visitors ahead.
Ruben Amorim's side, experimenting with a back-four formation, fought back late as Bruno Fernandes smashed home a spectacular free-kick in the 77th minute, followed quickly by Matheus Cunha's 79th-minute strike to regain the lead.
However, substitute Eli Junior Kroupi ensured the points were shared with a composed equaliser in the 84th minute. Bournemouth nearly snatched victory in stoppage time, but goalkeeper Senne Lammens made crucial saves.
The result highlighted defensive vulnerabilities on both sides amid attacking flair. United climbed to sixth place, while Bournemouth moved to 13th, extending their winless run but boosting survival prospects.
