AC Milan Seal Deal for Promising 19-Year-Old Striker Andrej Kostić

AC Milan have agreed a permanent deal to sign talented Montenegrin striker Andrej Kostić from Partizan Belgrade, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. The 19-year-old (born January 2007) is set to undergo his medical in Milan on Sunday, marking the conclusion of negotiations that began in late 2025. The move, valued around €8 million including potential add-ons, beat competition from several European clubs, including reported interest from Real Madrid.
Kostić has impressed this season with 10 goals and 1 assist in 966 minutes across 27 Serbian SuperLiga appearances for Partizan. His clinical finishing, pace, and physical presence have drawn comparisons to compatriot Dušan Vlahović, whose agent also represents the young forward.
Initially, the teenager is expected to join Milan Futuro, the club’s reserve side, as part of a structured development plan with a clear pathway to the first team. This signing aligns with Milan’s strategy of investing in high-potential Balkan talents at a reasonable cost while strengthening their youth pipeline.
Fans and analysts have welcomed the move as a smart, low-risk investment in the future. “Future No.9 loading at San Siro,” one supporter noted, highlighting excitement around the prospect.
Kostić’s arrival adds depth to Milan’s attacking options and underscores the Rossoneri’s commitment to scouting emerging stars from Eastern Europe. The deal is expected to be finalized shortly after the medical.
