Doku's Dramatic Stoppage-Time Strike Salvages Point for City in Everton ThrillerEverton 3-3 Manchester City

In a pulsating encounter at Hill Dickinson Stadium, Manchester City twice came from behind to snatch a 3-3 draw against Everton, with Jérémy Doku scoring a sensational 97th-minute equalizer that kept their title hopes flickering.
City appeared in control at half-time after Doku opened the scoring in the 43rd minute with a curling strike from the edge of the box. However, the second half descended into chaos for Pep Guardiola’s side. Substitute Thierno Barry pounced twice (68' and 81'), either side of a powerful Jake O’Brien header (73'), turning the game on its head and giving Everton a 3-1 lead.
Erling Haaland quickly reduced the deficit to 3-2 in the 83rd minute, but Everton looked set for a famous victory until Doku produced magic deep in added time, firing home with his right foot to deny David Moyes a landmark win over Guardiola.
The result leaves City five points adrift of leaders Arsenal with a game in hand, handing control of the title race to the Gunners. Everton, meanwhile, showed tremendous fight and spirit that could prove vital in their own survival battle.
Doku’s brace earned him widespread Man of the Match acclaim, but the draw highlighted defensive frailties that may ultimately cost City the crown.
