Bali United Parts Ways with Dutch Winger Jordy Bruijn Ahead of New Season
Bali United have officially confirmed the departure of Dutch winger Jordy Bruijn as the club prepares for the 2026/27 Super League campaign. The decision came after both sides agreed to end their partnership, bringing his one-year stay with the Serdadu Tridatu to a close.
The announcement was made by Bali United CEO Yabes Tanuri, who expressed the club’s appreciation for Bruijn’s commitment and professionalism throughout his time in Bali. Club officials acknowledged the positive contribution he made during the past season and wished him success in the next stage of his career.
Bruijn joined Bali United from Dutch second-division side Heracles Almelo and quickly established himself as a valuable member of the squad. Although he was not always a regular starter, he frequently made an impact after coming off the bench and became one of the team’s most reliable game changers.
During his season with the club, the 28-year-old recorded four goals and two assists in 20 appearances. His ability to influence matches in crucial moments made him an important attacking option and earned him recognition as one of Bali United’s most effective substitute players.
With the partnership now concluded, both the club and the player will move forward in different directions. Bali United continue reshaping their squad for the upcoming season, while Bruijn begins the search for the next opportunity in his professional football career.
