O'Hara: Tottenham Would Challenge Bayern in the Bundesliga and Form a Big Three with Real Madrid and Barcelona in La Liga

September 18 – Former Tottenham player Jamie O'Hara recently discussed the gap in quality between the Premier League and other European leagues on talkSPORT's The Sports Bar.

When asked how Tottenham would fare if they played in the Bundesliga, O'Hara said: "I'd say second, but they'd be fighting Bayern for the title. Tottenham are 100% capable of winning the Bundesliga – you just have to beat Bayern."

Turning to La Liga, O'Hara believes Tottenham could join Real Madrid and Barcelona in the title race: "La Liga would become a three-way fight for the title." He even added that he used Tottenham as an example because he supports them, but that Bournemouth would also be very competitive in other European leagues.

O'Hara believes this reflects the Premier League's current advantage in overall quality and spending, describing it as a "Super League." However, fellow studio guest Jason Cundy was clearly sceptical of his views.
