Bournemouth Stuns Ten-Man AC Milan with Dominant 3-0 Victory

Bournemouth secured a historic 3-0 victory over AC Milan in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday night, delivering a harsh blow to Rúben Amorim’s European campaign.

The match turned chaotic for the Italian giants after just eight minutes when Koni De Winter conceded a penalty for handball. Justin Kluivert confidently converted the spot-kick, putting the hosts ahead. Milan's troubles deepened in the 27th minute when goalkeeper Mike Maignan received a straight red card for a foul outside the box, forcing the Rossoneri to play with ten men.

Bournemouth quickly capitalized on their numerical advantage. Five minutes after the dismissal, Marcus Tavernier stepped up to convert a second penalty, comfortably doubling the English side's lead before halftime. Despite Milan's attempts to regroup, the Cherries remained firmly in control. Substitute Amine Adli sealed the emphatic victory in the 84th minute, firing home a brilliant free-kick to make it 3-0.

The heavy defeat leaves AC Milan struggling with just three points from their opening three Europa League fixtures. Meanwhile, Bournemouth celebrates a famous night in Europe, firmly solidifying their position in the league phase.
