Marseille Announced The Agreement for Signning Morocco Midfielder Azzedine Ounahi

Marseille, currently in third place in Ligue 1, announced on Saturday via their official Twitter account that they have reached an agreement in principle with another Ligue 1 club, Angers, to sign Moroccan midfielder Azzedine Ounahi. This will be Marseille's second new signing in the January transfer window, having already signed Ukrainian international Ruslan Malinovskyi.
In last year's World Cup in Qatar, Morocco entered the quarterfinals as the biggest dark horse and finally lost to France in the semifinals. Midfielder Ounahi's outstanding performance helped the team remain undefeated until the semi-finals. After the World Cup, the Moroccan player became one of the most sought-after athletes in the European transfer market. According to Transfermarkt, Azzedine Ounahi's market value has increased from 3.5 million euros to 15 million euros after the World Cup.
