Chelsea Still Attempting to Sign ENZO FERNANDEZ From Benfica

The transfer window in the Premier League will close on Tuesday and London side Chelsea are still doing their best to sign Argentinian player Enzo Fernandez. Benfica have insisted that they will not let the midfielder who helped Argentina win the World Cup in Qatar leave unless the Blues pay £105.4m in breach of contract.
Chelsea have resumed talks with Benfica again in the final moments of the transfer window after two previous offers were rejected. The Blues are reportedly offering two new proposals for signning Fernandez, one for £85 million plus a player transfer and another for a release clause for a total of £105 million to be paid in installments.
Chelsea are keen to add depth to their midfield options and have brought Mykhaylo Mudryk, loanee Joao Felix, Benoit Badiashile and Noni Madueke to Stamford Bridge this month. That means the club has spent £485 million since Todd Boehly became the new owner, including the £270 million spent in the summer transfer window.
