⭕Arsenal are considering a bid for Chelsea midfielder Jorginho

The Gunners have few options in midfield after injuries to Thomas Partey and Mohamed Elneny, and they have identified 31-year-old Jorginho as an option to strengthen the position, according to a report from The Athletic.

Chelsea will lose Jorginho for free this summer if his contract expires, so they have the option to let him pay before the end of the transfer period on Tuesday. However, they may not be willing to help strengthen their London rivals, who are trying to win the Premier League title this season.

Chelsea are also currently looking to bring in another midfielder before the transfer window closes. They have reportedly raised their bid for Benfica star Enzo Fernandes to £105m ($130m) after trying to have him rejected by Portugal. Graham Potter's side could make room for the Argentine this month by selling Jorginho, while Conor Gallagher has also been linked with an exit from the Everton circle.
