Santos: "Adapting to the Premier League is Tough; I Give My All Whether at No. 6 or No. 8"

November 23 – In a post-match interview following Chelsea's 2-0 victory over Burnley, *The Sun* correspondent Lloyd Canfield spoke with midfielder André Santos.
"Of course. Talking about the Champions League always brings excitement. I’ve always dreamed of these important matches. Now we’re facing Barcelona – we hope to be prepared, give our all, and aim for victory.
First Barcelona, then Arsenal. It will be an exciting week. We are Chelsea – we fight hard and want to win every game."
André also shared:
"Certainly, I think today was one of my best performances. Adapting to the Premier League has been a bit difficult, as it’s the toughest league in the world.
But my teammates have been a great help. I’m very happy to be playing in the Premier League."
When asked about his preferred position, manager Enzo Maresca commented:
"He prefers playing as a No. 6, which is Moisés Caicedo’s role. When I watched him play for Strasbourg last season, he was a goal-scoring No. 8."
Santos added:
"It’s hard to say which position I like most because I enjoy playing as an 8, but I also like the 6. If the coach believes I perform best as an 8 and that benefits the team the most, then that’s ideal.
But if he thinks I can play as a 6, like today, I’ll also give my all."
