UOL Breaking: Neymar to Be Named in Brazil's World Cup Squad; Replacement Unclear

May 16 – According to an exclusive report by UOL's renowned journalist Lucas Musetti, information held by Santos indicates that Neymar will be included in the Brazilian national team squad to be announced at the Museum of Tomorrow on Monday (18th).
At the event, head coach Carlo Ancelotti will name the 26 players to represent Brazil at the World Cup.
The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has contacted Santos to inquire about information regarding Neymar.
Two different sources have revealed the news of Neymar's likely selection to this column. One source stated: "100%. Absolutely no problem." Another was more cautious, saying "the chances are very high."
According to those close to Neymar, the star himself is unaware of the final decision and is anxiously awaiting Monday's announcement.
Should he be called up, Neymar may opt to rest and not play for Santos before the World Cup.
If that comes to pass, his last match of the Brazilian football season for Santos would be Sunday's clash against Coritiba at the Neo Química Arena. Tickets have already sold out.
