England official: Livramento withdraws from squad due to injury, Chalobah called up as replacement

June 16 — The England national team has officially announced that Newcastle United full-back Tino Livramento has withdrawn from England's World Cup squad due to injury.
Chelsea centre-back Trevoh Chalobah has been called up as his replacement.
According to earlier media reports, Livramento suffered a hamstring injury and will now return to Newcastle to begin his rehabilitation.
Due to ongoing injury issues, Livramento made only 17 Premier League appearances this season. He suffered two knee injuries last year, sidelining him for two months; in January, he picked up a hamstring injury that caused him to miss 15 matches; and a thigh injury in April ended his domestic league campaign early.
