Here We Go! Barcelona Seal €29m Deal for Karim Adeyemi

FC Barcelona have reached a full agreement with Borussia Dortmund to sign German forward Karim Adeyemi, as confirmed by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. The total package is valued at €22 million in fixed fee plus €7 million in performance-related add-ons tied to appearances and silverware.
Dortmund will also retain a 20% future sell-on clause. Adeyemi had a clear priority this summer, exclusively pushing for a move to the Catalan giants despite interest from other European top flights. He has agreed to a five-year contract that ties him to the Blaugrana until June 2031.
The 24-year-old winger was officially excused from Dortmund’s pre-season medical tests to finalize the transfer. Adeyemi is scheduled to fly to Spain this Wednesday to undergo his routine medical assessment and sign the official documentation.
Hansi Flick heavily advocated for the signing, valuing Adeyemi’s blistering pace and high-pressing work rate. Following the arrivals of Anthony Gordon and Adeyemi, Barcelona are executing a major offensive overhaul to replace veteran Robert Lewandowski.
