PSG Hijack Juventus Move with €33m Bid for Parma Keeper Zion Suzuki

Paris Saint-Germain have launched a stunning offensive in the summer transfer window, tabling an official €33 million package bid to Parma for Japanese international goalkeeper Zion Suzuki.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, this decisive move has allowed the reigning French champions to comfortably leapfrog Serie A heavyweights Juventus in the race for the highly-rated 23-year-old shot-stopper. Juventus had previously seen their own opening proposal firmly rejected by Parma.
Suzuki's market value skyrocketed following a string of sensational performances for Japan at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, alongside a breakthrough campaign in Italy. While Parma were originally bracing themselves for offers around €30 million, PSG’s lucrative proposal has prompted the Italian club to advance negotiations immediately.
PSG management have already presented their long-term project to Suzuki. The Parisian club views the young keeper as a vital investment for the future, particularly amid ongoing uncertainties surrounding Lucas Chevalier. Although Suzuki has requested firm guarantees regarding his actual playing time before finalizing any move, sources indicate he is becoming increasingly open to making the high-profile switch to the Parc des Princes.
