Erling Haaland’s first-half header was enough to maintain Manchester City’s perfect start to the Premier League season as they edged past a stubborn Coventry City 1-0 at the Etihad Stadium.

Coventry grew in confidence and launched a spirited late assault in the final 30 minutes.
