Spanish outlet AS has released a preview of an interview with Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé, in which the French striker discussed several topics.

On being a Real Madrid player

On Lamine Yamal — who said both he and Mbappé are the best players in the world

"I have a feeling he's going to have a great career."

On his chances of winning the Ballon d'Or

"I can talk well with my mouth, but I think my best weapon and my proof are my feet. So I always want to play with my feet. The rest is part of football, but I always try to focus on the pitch and on what I can do on the pitch.

My view is that this year is a good opportunity for me to win it. No matter how much I say, the most important thing for me is that the Ballon d'Or returns to Real Madrid. It must return to the Bernabéu, to the Madrid fans, to bring joy back to all those people. They deserve it more than anyone."
