AC Milan Rush to Secure Pulisic and Rabiot Contract Extensions
AC Milan are stepping up efforts to secure new contracts for Christian Pulisic and Adrien Rabiot before the January transfer window opens. The club considers both players important parts of its plans and wants to settle their futures early, with MilanNews reporting that negotiations are already underway.
Pulisic is increasingly regarded as one of Milan’s key figures and a symbol of the club’s current project. Milan therefore want his next contract to reflect his growing importance to the team. The club is also keen to reach an agreement before having to activate an additional one-year option, helping avoid uncertainty over his long-term situation.
Rabiot’s renewal is moving at a slightly slower pace, although Milan have the same overall objective of reaching an agreement before the end of 2026. Discussions are continuing with his mother and agent, Veronique, and both sides are reportedly interested in finding a solution before the year comes to an end.
The timing of the negotiations is particularly encouraging for Milan, with both Pulisic and Rabiot making important contributions during the team’s recent victory over Lecce. Their attacking output, work rate and influence on the pitch have made them valuable members of the squad during the current campaign.
Milan’s management now hopes to secure clarity over the futures of both players as soon as possible. Finalising the renewals would allow the club to maintain stability ahead of a demanding schedule after the international break while also reducing the possibility of transfer speculation surrounding two important members of the squad.
