Clinical Switzerland Cruise Past North Macedonia with 3-0 Victory

Switzerland maintained their flawless record in the Nations League with a dominant 3-0 victory over North Macedonia at the Swissporarena, moving one step closer to promotion back to League A.

Despite coach Murat Yakin rotating his squad, the hosts eventually broke down a resilient Macedonian defense just before the interval. In the 43rd minute, Rennes midfielder Fabian Rieder intercepted a misplaced pass from Visar Musliu and calmly slotted the ball home to open the scoring.

Switzerland asserted total dominance in the second half. In the 73rd minute, teenage substitute John Manzambi reacted quickest in the box, pouncing on a spilled ball from goalkeeper Stole Dimitrievski to double the Swiss lead with a sharp rebound finish.

The victory was sealed in emphatic fashion eight minutes later. Manzambi turned provider, setting up Bologna winger Dan Ndoye, who unleashed a spectacular, unstoppable volley into the top corner from the edge of the penalty area to make it 3-0.

With four wins from four games, Switzerland sits firmly atop Group B1 with 12 points. They head into November's final rounds needing just a point to guarantee their return to Europe's elite tier.
