Mbappe Double Inspires Real Madrid to Dominant 4-1 Victory Over Sevilla

Kylian Mbappé scored twice to lead Real Madrid to a commanding 4-1 victory over Sevilla at the Santiago Bernabéu on Sunday, providing a timely boost ahead of next weekend's highly anticipated El Clásico.

Despite missing the suspended Vinícius Júnior, Jose Mourinho's side controlled the match from the outset. Arda Güler opened the scoring in the 30th minute, turning home a precise pass from defender Yan Diomandé. Seven minutes later, Jude Bellingham turned provider, sliding an exquisite ball through to Mbappé, who rounded the Sevilla goalkeeper with ease to make it 2-0.

The French superstar extended the lead to 3-0 in the 63rd minute, coolly converting a penalty he had won himself. Sevilla managed a brief response through Manu Bueno, who pulled a goal back in the 80th minute. However, Madrid instantly shut down any hopes of a comeback just two minutes later. Man of the match Diomandé capped off a brilliant individual performance by driving forward and unleashing a fierce long-range strike into the bottom corner.

There was further celebration for the home fans late on as defender Éder Militão made his return from a long-term injury layoff, sealing a perfect night for Los Blancos.
